Possibilities Playground at Butterfield Crossing Park

he focus charity for the 2022 Ducky Derby is the Possibilities Playground in Castle Rock, a project of the non-profit Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation at Butterfield Crossing Park in the Meadows. The goal of the playground project is to create a universally designed, sensory-rich environment that enables people of all abilities to develop physically, socially and emotionally. The playground project goes beyond the current renovation plans and budget for the renovation work at Butterfield Crossing Park. Project Goal: to create a universally designed, sensory-rich environment that enables people of all abilities to develop physically, socially and emotionally.
Project Partners: This project is being done in conjunction with the Castle Rock Parks and Recreation Department’s already planned renovation work at Butterfield Crossing Park to enhance the park beyond the current renovation plans and budget.
Funding Goal: The overall Possibilities Playground funding goal is to raise $1.3 million. The Rotary Clubs of Castle Rock are targeting $15,000 to $30,000 through support from other Rotary Clubs in the region.
