Is Rotary Membership for You?

We know life can get busy—trust us, we get it! But being a part of the Rotary Club is more than just paying those quarterly dues; it’s about stepping up and making a difference. At its heart, Rotary is all about service—whether that’s in your neighborhood, across the nation, or on a global scale. If you’ve got a passion for helping others and making a real impact, you’ll fit right in with our amazing community of changemakers!

What is the Castle Rock Rotary Club?

The Castle Rock Rotary Club is a non-religious, non-political group of local men and women who work together in a Service Organization for the betterment of our community.  Our motto is “Service Above Self.”  Our primary focus for service is local, but we also support worthwhile causes around the world through our membership in Rotary International and support for the Rotary Foundation.

We meet weekly – Wednesday Mornings, 7:15am to 8:30am.  In addition to socializing and breakfast, we usually have a presentation from an interesting speaker including people from charitable organizations, representatives of local schools, civic leaders, or elected official, etc.

"Service Above Self” is our mission, but we also strive to Have Fun while doing so.  Friendship between club members, camaraderie at our meetings and social functions, and support for one another is also a significant aspect of who we are and what we do.

Some of the local organizations that we support with funding and/or time include:

· Wellspring Community

· Aspire Scholarships

· Help and Hope Center

· Colorado HorsePower

· The Crisis Center

· Boy Scout Eagle Projects

· Castle View High School “Student of the Month” program

· Castle Rock’s Turkey ROCK Trot

· Douglas Land Conservancy

· Castle Rock Christmas Starlighting and more each year…

You’ll find more information about Rotary International on its website: www.rotary.org

What Does it Cost to Be a Member?

Starting July 2024, our quarterly dues are $165, automatically charged in January, April, July, and October. New members pay a one-time $25 application fee. The dues include:

· Weekly meetings with continental breakfast, juice, and coffee

· Annual "Change Over" dinner for members and their guests

· Club administrative costs

· Rotary District dues and Rotary International dues

· Several social activities annually

· Subscription to The Rotarian magazine

What is Expected of New and Existing Members?

Rotary membership is about active participation. We encourage members to engage in club activities, get to know each other, and maintain their dues. Our members support fundraising efforts like the Ducky Derby and Peach Sales, and volunteer their time and talents to serve our communities.

Rotary offers opportunities for members to match their passions with service projects and explore leadership roles within the club. Members also build lifelong friendships, celebrating good times and supporting each other during challenges. If Rotary feels like the right fit for you, don’t wait—apply today!
