Ducky Derby Street Fair and Festival Park Farmers Market August 23*, 2020

The Ducky Derby is the largest fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Castle Rock.  Donations received are distributed primarily to local non-profits who serve the community by providing basic needs, emergency relief, education, or related services.  Since July 2017, the Rotary Club of Castle Rock has averaged distributions of more than $50,000 per year to non-profits and scholarships for local students.

In conjunction with the Ducky Derby Street Fair, we will present a local non-profit that has been chosen by the community to receive an additional $1000 in funding as part of our Virtual Ducky Race.  Several Rotary-supported non-profits have entered Duckys into the Race.  Meet the Duckys and see the current Derby Leaderboard on the links to the left.  You can cheer for your non-profit Ducky's through August 18th.  Winners will be announced on-line and $1000 will be presented to the winning Ducky at the Ducky Derby on August 23rd*.

Please support your local community by buying Ducky Derby tickets now.  Donations collected through ticket sales will be distributed to support Castle Rock and the local area as soon as possible.

We plan to gather for a Ducky Derby Street Fair on August 23rd with the Festival Park Farmer’s Market by Local Colorado.  The main event for the day will be the Ducky Derby, where thousands of numbered rubber Duckys are released into Plum Creek and they “race” a half mile to the finish line.  Buying Ducky Derby tickets not only supports the local community, but the first ten Duckys will also earn cash prize money for their ticket holders.  In addition, the winning ducky provides the ticket holder a chance to win a new car from one of our sponsors, Medved Autoplex.

Each $5 donation to the Rotary Club earns a ticket for one Ducky.  Five Ducky’s can be sponsored for a donation of $20.
